The sun and the aging process also work against our complexion wellness, leaving fine lines, wrinkles and UV spots.

- Always wear a sunscreen, even during winter or overcast days. SPF 20+ is good throughout the year; SPF 30 is suitable for the summer.
- Reduce smoking or, better yet, quit it altogether. There is nothing more harmful for your skin. Smoking destroys the best part of antioxidant Vitamin C taken from food.
- Replace coffee with tea and reduce consumption of refreshments, especially those that are heavy in sugar.
- Include plenty of fruit and vegetables on your daily menu and do not exclude any type of food, as long as consumption is balanced.
- Reduce animal fats, red meat and full dairy products; replace them with fish, olive oil or chicken.
- Make sure you take a good rest at night. Try to sleep for at least 8 hours every day and make sure you will not miss on your ‘beauty sleep’ unless it is absolutely necessary.
- Work out as often as you can, in fact you should try to fit a regular workout schedule in your daily or weekly routine.
- Drink plenty of water, at least 8 glasses a day. This will help your skin moisturize and reflect health and wellness.
- Do not neglect taking off your make up. You might be tired, we know, but nothing is more important that taking off your make up and leaving your skin cleansed, to indulge into the repair process of the night.
